Since its inception, LIM FEF has awarded nearly $2 million in scholarships to deserving students to help bridge the gap between the cost of an education at LIM College and what they can afford.

Our key funding priorities are:

Scholarships - LIM College tuition is 23% lower than the national average for private nonprofit four-year colleges, but the need for financial aid is significant. On average, approximately 45% of the student body demonstrates significant financial need. Scholarships help offset the costs of students’ tuition, housing, food, books, and technology needs.

Educational enhancements - These enhance students’ experience at LIM and include study abroad programs, student exchanges and technology.

How your gift makes a difference

Annual indirect costs of living for a student are estimated at approximately $7,400 and include the items below. You can help offset these costs for a deserving student.

Your tax-deductible annual or recurring (monthly) gift allows us to rely on and forecast how many scholarships we can award each year. Please consider an annual or recurring gift of cash to support our mission.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Many businesses have a budget to provide grants to nonprofit organizations. Please nominate us or make an introduction.
  • Employee Giving: Check with your employer about an employee giving program, which allows you to designate pre-tax donations to us through payroll.
  • Matching Gifts: Some employers will match your donation up to 100%. Check with the HR department at your company or contact us and we can help you find out more.

A no-cost gift that keeps on giving. Create a significant legacy by naming the LIM Fashion Education Foundation in your will and/or estate plan.
